Named for the rooster in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, Chanticleer is the only full-time classical vocal ensemble in the United States. The multiple Grammy Award-winning group developed a remarkable reputation for its vivid interpretations of vocal literature, from Renaissance to Jazz, and from Gospel to venturesome new music. Its seamless blend of twelve male vocalists is internationally renowned as "an orchestra of voices."
