On a chilly night in 1958, Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, and Billie Holiday gave the first Monterey Jazz performances. Continuing the tradition of combining veteran and young artists, the show stars six-time Grammy Award nominee and winner of the Eubie Blake Award, Nnenna Freelon; Grammy Award-winning Terence Blanchard; James Moody; Benny Green; Derrick Hodge; and Kendrick Scott.
